    Bruce Seven was an artist. When he made a movie, he would spend 90% of production time on set, make up, hair, costumes, prep, lighting, etc. When he was ready to shoot, everything and everyone was ready to shoot. For this quality, he was one of my favorite directors for whom to shoot and the only one (maybe a few exceptions) for whom I would shoot bdsm (which was always a favorite target of law enforcement). It didn't matter that he used super 8 or 16mm. His technicals did not require the much higher priced 35mm. This was true for the entire Loose Ends series, as well as his other films.

    Here he takes a relatively mild mannered Karen Summers and transforms her into a very hot dominatrix, while taking a normally snarly Janey Robbins and draws from her a sensuous submissive role.
