Not how most of playing guitar works. But a.) I didn't realize Madonnas guitar player had that kinda chops! b.) That was fun to watch c.) She should enter an air guitar competition! (I guarantee she'd win.. being a hot woman and all) ?
I agree with you, but it as close to actually playing, (or faking it) that I have seen. I can watch, and listen to chord changes,and patterns, like on tv shows,and can tell if its real.Speed metal, is a little above my knowledge,, 
It looks a lot like she is playing. BUT she can be miming this and doing it very good too. A bit of practise of what to do and a skilled guitar player/instructor playing what she is miming would do it. Or Vicky miming to a sound track. A little editing/timing/synchronizing and it's a wrap.
Of course I want to believe that she is playing, but I doubt it very much. Even when she is from the same town in Norway I live in...
